Bathrooms are considered to be one the most used rooms in the home. It is because every member of the household will use this room several times per day. In return, the bathroom will have many more germs than most of the other rooms in your home. It is recommended that you disinfect your home’s bathroom at least once a week. This will help cut down on the spreading of the germs. Eliminating the germs from this room can greatly decrease the sickness in your home.
The most common place that people get germs from is touching a door handle. Door handles are touched by so many people that they normally have several different kinds of germs on them. It is a good policy to spray your door handles several times a week especially if some one in the home is already sick. A simple aerosol spray will work very well. Simply spray the door knob at the end of each day and this will help reduce the amount of germs in your home.
Scrubbing the bathroom with a disinfectant such as bleach will help eliminate the germs in all other areas. The bathroom is the most common place to spread a stomach virus. These kinds of germs thrive in this particular area because of the moisture that can linger from a hot shower or bath. A humid environment is the perfect breeding grounds for some of the most common germs. Using bleach or other disinfectant cleaners will greatly reduce the chances of the germs spreading from person to person
