Whether you live in a flat or detached house in London you will no doubt have a cleaning list as long as your arm. House cleaning including window cleaning and carpet cleaning in the busy city of London can be a gruelling task that needs regular attention.

However, if you are pregnant or trying to conceive, it is recommended you stay away from the harsh chemicals and household products used for cleaning. High exposure to these products by regular cleaning activities has been linked to wheezing and asthma in children from childbirth or from the early years. Wheezing itself is often a sign that the child will develop asthma later on and must be treated seriously. It was found that the more frequently these products were used, the more likely a child was to develop a wheeze from birth or in the first two years of its life.

With this in mind it is advised that mothers to be refrain from excessive cleaning whilst pregnant and should consider employing the aid of a cleaning company to help around the home every so often and alleviate the strain and the risk of cleaning. For when you are doing simple easy jobs around your London home, flat or apartment you should make sure you open the windows during cleaning and only use what you need to. Cut down on excessive spraying and ensure you get plenty of fresh air and breaks. The best way to tackle your home cleaning is to do small jobs throughout the week and then once every so often employ a London cleaning company to do a large job such as carpet cleaning or window cleaning. If you are uncomfortable with leaving your house unattended with a cleaning company you can sit outside in the garden or in a separate room to the one being cleaned to ensure you still get the benefits of being away from those harsh chemicals.
