Lemon Juice has long been regarded as a cleaning saviour for many housewives and husbands. This all powerful natural grime busting citrus fruit can help you make your whites white and your copper shine. If you have a lime scale problem, just soak a paper towel in lemon juice and cover up the lime scale areas with it for about one hour. Then rinse it thoroughly and repeat if it hasn’t finished off the job. It’s not advisable to use this on thin plated areas such as gold plated items as you could find that the gold comes off too!

Forget stains, and forget expensive soap powders and stain treatments for your clothes. Dunk the clothes in lemon juice for 15 minutes then wash as usual. You’ll be amazed at the bright results you achieve. You can also use lemon juice to clean up your brass or copper. Just mix the juice with coarse salt crystals such as sea salt and dip a cloth into the mixture. Then rub the copper or brass with the wet cloth and the tarnish will disappear in no time. Finish off by polishing with a dry cloth for a fantastic shine.
